Paradoxalement, la crise, tout en mettant en lumière (et en aggravant) la précarité du travail des femmes, a aussi révélé leur rôle-pilier dans l’économie africaine.

Ironically the crisis has both highlighted how insecure the work of women is —and making this worse— and also shown up the crucial role they play in the African economy.
