To investigate whether antimatter really does behave differently from matter, 10 countries have joined forces at Slac to use "BaBar", a 1,200 ton detector that gets its name from the storybook elephant and the B particles (matter) and B-bar particles (antimatter) it will study.

Dix pays ont mis leurs moyens en commun dans le cadre du SLAC afin d’utiliser BaBar, un détecteur de 1 200 tonnes qui tire son nom du héros des livres pour enfants et des particules B (matière) et B-bar (antimatière) qu’il étudie.
