Relations with Rafiq Hariri’s government were initially cool, but they have significantly improved since the appointment of the current prime minister, Selim Hoss. The party now openly supports the reforms planned by President Emile Lahoud, who instigated cooperation between Hizbollah and the army, when he was army chief.

Ses relations avec le gouvernement de M.Rafic Hariri étaient assez froides. Un rapprochement significatif s’est effectué avec l’actuel premier ministre, M. Selim Hoss, et le parti soutient ouvertement le projet réformateur du président Emile Lahoud, qui, lorsqu’il dirigeait l’armée, était l’artisan de la coopération militaire entre celle-ci et le Hezbollah.
