Pacifica n’a pas tardé à réagir en licenciant d’autres journalistes qui remettaient cette décision en cause et, le 13 juillet, Dennis Bernstein, directeur de l’information, a été physiquement arraché de son micro pour avoir évoqué l’affaire.

This brought retribution from Pacifica. Other KPFA journalists were sacked for discussing the matter, and on July 13th Dennis Bernstein, the news director, was physically dragged off the air for mentioning it.
